  • 1/3 cup butter
  • 1/3 cup chopped onion

  • 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
  • 2 cups chicken broth (I used home-made stock, you may want to add salt in with the pepper, the stock had enough flavor that it didn’t need it.)

    So good!!! I used more veggies than chicken , and boiled the potatoes with the other veggies. Otherwise followed it and will be making again!

    Delicious! Took longer and was more work than expected but tasted great. We had leftover filling that I just warmed in the microwave the next day and ate with Ritz crackers.

    Comes together easily and is a favorite already. Used pie crust for the base and puff pastry for the top, baked up perfectly!

    Best chicken pot pie I’ve ever had! I followed the recipe exactly, except I used canned peas, carrots, and corn. I drained the cans completely before adding to the rest of the mixture and I also used pink Himalayan salt for flavor. This recipe has rocked my family’s mind! I make it once or twice a month, we can’t get enough! ☺️

    This turned out SOOOO good!!!! I didn’t use potatoes and I covered the top with Pillsbury biscuits instead of the pie crust. I baked everything for 10-15 minutes and then added the biscuits and put in for the other 15 minutes. I also added more seasoning to my likings. This was such a hit and actually not hard to make. Will definitely be a staple moving forward ❤️

    It turned out awesome ! I used turkey instead of chicken and I added chopped potaotes in mine as well and it turned out awesome and plus i dazzled up my sauce a little more with seasonings to my liking. The whole thing was gone and I forgot to take a picture ! But it was so good ! Never makes me want a frozen one ever again.

    This one is a winner, will make it again. Don’t forget to get two key ingredients (potato, onions) that are described in the detailed instructions, but missing in the ingredients list. It’s a really good base, we added som Slap Ya Momma spice blend to step up the flavors. Save any extra gravy and serve on the side.

    Tasted amazing. This was my first ever pot pie. Wish both ingredient lists had the potatoes and everything on it though. Was a bit confusing at first. Also would recommend doing the tinfoil on the First 20 minutes then the last 20 taking it off. It’s easier that way. Family enjoyed it though & will definitely be making again. (Also, it saves so much time if you prep ahead of time!)

    Perfect pie. Took awhile to make from scratch but worth the efforts. I brushed the top crust with butter and added a little black truffle salt for a little bit of a salty buttery crust

    This turned out awesome! The recipe was a bit confusing because the potatoes were left out of the ingredients then "mentioned" in the directions. No where did it say at what point to cook them. So I played it safe and made the dish with mashed potatoes. The potatoes most likely went with the peas and carrots during their cooking time. Either way, it's an awesome recipe and I will be making this again.

    WOW phenomenal. Two of us only had a quarter pie leftover. When I first baked the bottom crust I was nervous becausen it shrank a bit and I couldn’t pinch the top one to it but it made no difference after the finished pie baked. I had some left over beef broth so I used 1 cup beef 1 cup chicken. Used 1% milk. I forgot the potato - but I think I will continue to omit it when I make this recipe again!

    This turned out AMAZING. I used the pie pastries from pilaburry, and they worked well, and it only needed about 20 minutes in the oven instead of 30!
