    This is an awesome tasting, very moist cake. We loved it.

    Amazing recipe. I made the about 5 or 6 years ago for my family and it has because an annual holiday tradition. Even when I try not to make it for a change, I get so many requests, I end up making it. also good when I cut the recipe in half or 3/4 for a larger single layer. I usually substitute the raisins for dried cranberries for taste preference. also we end up using about half the frosting only. I've added this to my lifetime favorites.

    It was great... nice and moist. A true carrot cake recipe!
    delicious and easy to make. I used only one form, so it needs extra time (+10-15 min) in the oven

    I modified the recipe just slightly...used less sugar.

    it tasted amazing. It was moist and one of the best I've had. Did modify frosting by reducing the powdered suger by 1/2 cup.
