Excellent recipe! I’ve made it several times and made minor changes based on ingredients I had on hand. Today I left out the tomatoes and added bacon and white beans.

I used southwestern diced tomatoes and added a few jalapeños. I also added corn and peas and it turned out great!

I like my veggies a little softer so I cooked it longer and added some red pepper flakes for a bit more heat will definitely make again

I was very impressed with this recipe! Very tasty, healthy, quick to throw together and calls for simple ingredients I already had on hand.

We threw all of the ingredients into a crockpot, and added about half a cup of lentils for just that extra kick of fiber to make the dish more filling. The only adjustment we made was adding a teaspoon of turmeric (mainly for its added benefits). The soup turned out really good, I will definitely be saving it for future meals.

One thing I have found to help with any soup dish I choose to make is that my broth must be tasty. I have had my share of terrible tasting dishes and it was all because I was choosing the broth that didn't satisfy me. As for this dish, I really enjoyed it and will make it again.

I read some of the reviews, many of which were poor; describing the soul as bland. Because of that I decided to add one teaspoon of African Peri Peri spice which has complemented the tomato and given it a bit of a kick. I’m eating it now

This turned out so well, love it! Swapped in 1 bag coleslaw mix and 1 bag organic broccoli slaw for the head of cabbage, swapped in 1 can of diced tomatoes w Italian herbs, used 1 whole onion (FP), used 2 handfuls julienned carrots, and added extra celery, 1 bay leaf, 1 can tomato sauce, 1 can tomato paste, garlic/herb seasoning. Go generous on the garlic. Converted to IP: sauté onion, carrots, celery, garlic a few minutes in broth/oil. Then dump in everything else, high pressure 6 min. with quick release. Served with a frozen Cauliflower crust veggie pizza and side salad.

Will make again. Hearty but the tomato adds some acidity and sharpness. Will use less next time. Works well in a low/slow cooker.

Excellent! I added broccoli and spinach fresh from the garden. Served it with cheese quesadilla!

Incredible soup base! I added spinach & mixed vegetables. Per review recommendation I added tomato paste & a bay leaf! It’s really filling even tho there’s no protein added.

My daughter and I Loved it!...Perfect for winter light dinners. To make it little spicy I added Sriracha sauce to it.

Because I like thicker soups, I used a whole head of lettuce. When it finished cooking, it was still more brothy than I like, and a bit drab tasting to my palate. I removed about 2 cups broth and added corn plus 6oz tomato paste. The paste added enough flavor to please everyone. Also note, I didn’t use Thyme because I don’t like it. I’ll definitely make this again.

It’s not terrible but it’s not great. It tasted better the second time I made it. I added onion powder, garlic salt, a tsp of tamari, and parsley. I also used less pepper than the recipe called for. With my adjustments I would give it 5 stars.
