The curry powder really elevated the dish. Looking forward to making this again!

Very tasty and full of veggies. I will use half of the tomatoes next time.

This lentil soup was absolutely delicious! Added a couple more tablespoons of lemon juice, a little more salt and added jalapeños with juice for extra spice and tangy-ness. Also substituted the kale with baby spinach and turned out great. Will absolutely be making this again!

Tasted great! I had to sub out the vegetable stick for chicken stock, i added an extra teaspoon of curry powder and threw whatever vegetables needed eating up. Will make again 👍

This has become a staple in my house. My entire family adores this soup. The recipe is great. The only thing I change is that I always end up using more of the required spices just to give it more flavor. I also usually add an entire bag of chopped kale and it’s delicious and healthy! 😀

I didn’t like the lemon in it and it could use more greens but otherwise it’s good.

Great recipe! On our second time making this we added roasted tomatoes with green chilies (from a can) since this is what we had on hand. It gave the soup a nice touch of heat and enhanced the flavor even more. Highly recommend giving the green chilies a try! This is how we make the soup from now on.

Delicious addition to our Meatless Mondays! I added some smoked paprika, as well.

Turned out pretty good. I didn’t use curry and tomato’s but still tasted good

Used a pressure cooker, so eliminated the water entirely, did not drain the tomatoes, and used less stock. Followed all the steps through #4, then closed the lid, set the timer for six minutes, and walked away. When it finished, I let it vent 10-15 minutes and it was perfect.

This is the first homemade soup I’ve ever made and honestly didn’t know what to expect as I don’t even know if I’ve had lentil soup before 🤷🏻‍♂️. This was a really balanced and flavourful recipe that I will definitely make again, I just don’t think it’s the 110% best soup in the world. I’m a sucker for thicker soups.

This is absolutely delicious just as it is but is one of those recipes that you can play around with a little to suit your tastes.

A little disappointing on the spice level! I would pick it up!

My whole family loved it!!! Delicious and filling. I used spinach instead of collard greens but that was just a personal preference.

I added 2 cups chicken broth and 2 cups beef broth... so not vegetarian! Drained tomato juice into 2 cup container and added water to make the 2 cups required. Used fresh spinach and zested the lemon to add with the lemon juice. A couple of shots of hot sauce and voilà! Excellent soup!

Excellent! We loved the cumin & curry flavor. I used spinach instead of kale & it was superb! Thank you so much for sharing.

Very good! This one was a bit too acidic so I think next time I will add less lemon juice or even substitute balsamic vinegar. Hearty and delicious!

Great taste, fast and easy to make. Will be making this again.

Definitely delicious. It's a plus if the kids eat it and they did. Perhaps too chunky with the tomatoes and greens. Will just simply chop everything much smaller (easier to get the kids to eat it down when they can't tell what it is). We'll make it again.

Really delicious! Will make it again.

Wow! Two thumbs up on this one. So flavorful! I added two teaspoons of Himalayan Pink Salt; and used spinach in lieu of collards. Served with salad. This one’s going on my “fave” list 12/18/20- finding that I prefer kale and use of less tomatoes....using rotel or fire roasted tomatoes to decrease acidity
