This was easy to make. It tasted great. Definitely save the extra strawberry puree to drizzle on top!!

Delicious even tho I made changes. Used a small box of jello cause that's all I had. Which was good cause I only had strawberry cake mix so more jello mix would've been overwhelming. And the icing was really runny since I only used 2 cups of sugar. That was sweet enough for me. The cake pan I used was short so the icing would've spilled over. So I made it like a poke cake. I was not disappointed. Will definitely make again.

I made this over the weekend. I had all these cake mixes and honestly I was scared of them expiring. So I went looking for something fun that I could make. The entire family loved this cake and in two days it was gone. The best part is the real strawberries and the icing and I’m not even an icing fan, well I wasn’t till I made this icing. Homemade icing is the way to go. Especially if you throw strawberries in it. Thank you for sharing a wonderful and delicious recipe. Will be making again soon!
