  • 2 Tbsp. olive oil
  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 1/2 medium onion (finely chopped)
  • 1/2 lb. brown mushrooms (thickly sliced)
  • 1 garlic cloves (minced)
  • 1 Tbsp. all purpose flour
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 3/4 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 tsp. Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. black pepper
  • 1 Tbsp. green onion (to garnish, optional)
  • 12 oz. egg noodles (to serve)

    Came out very nicely! I added a half cup of dry white wine to add just a bit more flavor, but it was excellent!

    First time I’ve ever made it! It was great! Delicious, but I did add a splash of cooking sherry for a touch of acid, and dried thyme to tie it together. Thank you for the recipe!

    Amazing! I have made many beef stroganoff recipes, and while the quality of the steak definitely makes one of the biggest differences, the addition of the worsherchire and dijon mustard took it to the next level! I also added some fresh thyme and I liked that next layer of flavor, too!

    Good flavor but the ingredients did not match the video. Use a better cut of steak and chives, not green onions.

    Very easy and quick to make. I altered the recipe to make it a bit more heart healthy. I skipped the salt, used evaporated milk instead of cream and used no added salt stock. That reduced the per serving sodium to under 200mg without loss of flavor.

    Good option for those that aren't a fan of sour cream in addition to the tip of bringing sour cream to temp so it didn't curdle. Used top sirloin and not a good enough cut to enjoy recipe. Need more flour to thicken.

    Great directions, the sauce came out just the right texture and consistency. However, the main complaint I have is that is was a bit bland. I don't know if it was more of something it needed or something else altogether, but I'll play around with it until I get it right
