I agree with the reviews about simple ingredients. I’m a 50 yo single guy and I’m crazy about sweets, cakes , cookies and everything of the like but I barely have time to cook, so recipes like this are my favorite. I can’t tell how many times I’ve made this bread, probably each time I buy bananas… I just made it again right now and put pecans besides the walnuts let’s see. One time I was being adventurous and I put peanut butter, didn’t quite feel the flavor, any experts can explain? And a tip to prevent the bread to be too dry?

Delicious! I had no maple syrup so I substituted agave syrup - so moist and good. Watch the baking time I baked mine for the full hour but I think it should have been taken out 10-15 minutes earlier.

I had some bananas I totally forgot about, this recipe was a savior. I did it with two eggs instead of one, though, otherwise mixture was a bit dry for my liking

I do love this cake. It came out very moist. I used half whole wheat flour and half rye and added frozen berries instead of walnuts, and added two teaspoons of brown sugar on top of maple syrup. It isn’t very sweet at all but I like it that way. Tastes healthier.

Turned out great. substituted honey for maple syrup as that is what I had. Added chocolate chips to it as well. Will make again

It turned out to be my best banana btead yet it was very moist. the best thing about it was it wasn't too sweet so the banana and nut flavors really stood out.

I absolutely love this recipe, and everyone who has tried some loves it as well! I added some vanilla protein powder to this as well, just as a decent pre workout snack.

this is an excellent bread, one of my favorites, and i didn't add or taking away from the recipe. everyone that tasted the bread loved it.
