    A hit with the whole family, along with requests to make it again soon. I’m sure the recipe is excellent as written. I’m making notes for myself, not to tell others how to “improve “ the author’s recipe. I used spaghetti sauce, with a sautéed red pepper, onion and garlic added. I used both my larger and smaller oval casseroles. Maybe next time use a 9x13 pan or larger? I used fresh basil and thyme in the oil I brushed on the top. It was fun to put together and impressive to serve!
