Very delicious. Wife loved it because she isn’t a huge meat eater. Be sure to crisp it up good. I sautéed broccoli, mushrooms, and some red onion first. Chopped 2 dried red chilis and doubled sauce, marinated tofu in half the sauce. Fried tofu up, and added all together. Sprinkled w cilantro. Had w rice and xtra sauce. Non tofu eaters would love this! Wife said her favorite dish ever!

This recipe was very good, but I sautéed broccoli, mushrooms and scallions and added them to the tofu a few minutes before tofu was completely crunchy. It mixed with the marinade. Delish!

This was delicious. Next time I’ll make a little extra sauce but it’s delicious. I’ve always been hesitant with tofu because of the texture, but this was perfect. It’s easier and quicker than I expected. Adding to my recipe list to make again.

Great recipe! Easy to make! The tip about drying out the tofu beforehand makes the texture perfect. My family of non vegan/non vegetarian eat it up happily.

one of my favourite go to dishes. i cant explain how good it is. I'm vegan and always am cooking new meals each month but now i have a few favourites that i always cook and this is the most easy and best tasting one!

Delicious! My fiancé loved it as well. I omit the sugar and added a bit more garlic. We will definitely be making this again

I very loosely followed this recipe with ingredients I had on hand and it turned out great! I used gardein beefless tips instead of tofu, a homemade hoisin sauce recipe I found on Yummly, and no extra sugar from this recipe (there was a little sugar in the hoisin recipe I found and I didn’t want to make it too sweet). I also cooked some frozen broccoli, then added it in with the gardein and sauce once it was mostly cooked. I’m sure it’d be great as written too, but I improvise a lot on recipes. Served over basmati rice and topped with green onions & sesame seeds.

this turned out well, but was sweeter than expexted. I think next time I will increase the garlic and ginger slightly and decrease the sugar bya teaspoon

Amazing! Super easy to make. I added more soy sauce and sesame seed oil than the recipe called for. It did just the trick. Will be making again!

Perfection! Used extra firm tofu pressed and frozen. Marinated for an hour. Used a mix of soy sauce and tamari to reduce the sodium. Nice flavor and semi crisp texture.

Some mods- I didn’t marinate for 30 minutes. I marinated for 15 minutes and it turned out great! Also used frozen stir fry mix.

This recipe was my first attempt at using tofu and it turned out great. Easy to make and delicious. I used broccoli, mushrooms and snow peas for veg, and used rice noodles as the bed.
