    Crust was too crumbly would not mold, used a dairy free butter maybe that’s why???

    Wasn't a proper apple pie. Wayy to crumby due to bad proportions of the dough. Very drie as it just told you to put the apples with the pastry without any source, hence making it dry.

    Thank you for your recipe from Japan! I like it as it’s very simple. The difficult part was when I got the bottom pie out of the oven, put apples and covered it with the other half crust. The bottom part was very hot so the top crust melted before I’d shape it with a fork. I even got my fingers burned... So be careful guys! The photo is my first one a month ago. I am making another right now but am going to bake the top and bottom together. Hope it’s not going to be soggy.

    Turned out reallyyyy well and super tasty, BUT the baking took me a much longer time than expected (and I was doing this at midnight, so I had to turn it off after an hour, even though it wasn’t perfectly golden). That didn’t affect the taste at all, but good to know so you plan accordingly!

    Mine came out more dry than I like but it was good. More water maybe and longer cook time for the apples? Others ideas. I’m new to pie.

    turned out okay. i will definitely make again. the crust was a bit hard but I think that's because I overworked it. all in all, easy simple good applepie.
