- Preheat the oven to 425°F.
- Line a 12-cavity muffin pan with muffin/cupcake liners.
- In large mixing bowl, use a hand mixer to cream together the butter, brown sugar, and vanilla extract on medium-high speed until smooth and combined, 1-2 minutes.

Ended up with 16 muffins instead of 12. Mine weren't dry like most say they turned out. I had honeycrisp apples on hand; the apple taste was subtle but perfect for me.

Delicious - but I spent 30 minutes on Yummly trying to locate another recipe using sour milk. When I signed in, the searched recipes disappeared, so I made this instead (without the sour milk).

Nice recipe, tastes amazing!!! The amount of baking powder and soda did make them a bit big (the kinda went over the edge) but that just means there is more muffin to enjoy :).

Delicious. The only tweaks I made were that I used one big apple instead of two, creme fraiche instead of sour cream, and wholemeal flour. They weren’t dry in the slightest and I will definitely make them again. DEFINITELY ADD NUTMEG! As you can see, I only made 9 but I definitely could’ve made 12 if I hadn’t put so much mixture into each cup 😂 They’re probably better as muffins actually.

rhey were great! a lot of people seem to think theyre dry but I just added more milk and they were pretty much perfect after that.

I added 1/2 cup of applesauce as mentioned by one of the reviewers. It’s nice and moist. Not too sweet either.

Many of the reviews I read beforehand said that the muffins turned out dry, so I added about 1 cup of unsweetened applesauce to the mix and they came out wonderfully moist and delicious! I also substituted plain Greek yogurt for the sour cream. Came out a winner in my books - I’d definitely bake them this way again!

I did it as a loaf and muffins. If you do it as a loaf, tweak the time bake.
It is amazing, I do this recipe all the time now. Love it!
