I read several comments about sauce not thickening. Perhaps you used heavy whipping cream instead of heavy cream. There's more thickening with heavy cream as it has about 6% more fat. I only had whipping cream so stirred a couple T of flour in water so I had a thick but pourable mixture and used that to beef up the thickness. Maybe cooking and stirring to remove water may have worked but I was hungry. 😁 Put a couple cloves of garlic and cracked pepper in along with cooked chicken. Put grated parm on. Delicious and simple.

Super easy and delicious! I added chopped garlic to the butter before adding the cream and added shredded chicken when I added the cheese… taste amazing 🤩 I doubled the recipe so I could meal prep it.

Delicious! I adjusted the amount to make it for just me. I used 3 tbsp butter, 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream, and 1/2 cup of freshly grated parmesan cheese. (Obviously, 2 servings of linguine because I don't eat lightly.) It tasted perfect...but is 1200 cals for just that meal for me. Next time I'm going to try 2 tbsp butter and I think that will taste even better.

I love that I am disciplined enough to make my own Alfredo sauce!!! This simple recipe is perfect for my thought process & enough for 1 box of spaghetti noodles. I didn’t have fettuccine noodles & it turned out just fine!!! I added garlic & chicken. I will be eating this all weekend!!!

Good. Creamy. I used milk and half and half instead of cream. I also used not fresh Parmesan cheese. I would add garlic next time.
